2. TYPE OF APPEAL (Complete relevant section).*
a. A VARIANCE IS REQUESTED for the following reasons:
I) Strict application of the Zoning Ordinance would produce undue hardship because: Fo r a
25ft. square..sign(Directory Type) to be set back 50tt1 from the property
line 1s unreal istrc because a vehicle wO'lld have to s ow down to about
10m. p.h. or come to a complete stop just to read the sign of !J1Y tenants.

vicinity of this property and in this district because: The Larger Sign of Forest Hau~
across the road from us is about Six Feet from the Highway and probably
on Town Road property. Another sign south ot Forest Haus and on the east
side of Old Rt. 9 is ver~ close to the Highway also.
3) The variance would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and would not change the character of
the district because: This sign would not block out any other business or
home as our property runs clear up to the Fonda Del Sol Restaurant from
the off ic es.
