Article IV, Section 421 - Schedule of Residence Zone Uses
Paragraph 18 - "Private camps for seasonal residence
only* " .
Arti'cle II, Section 220 -Definition of "Camp"
Any area of land, or land and water, including any
buildings, tents, shelters, or other accommodations
suitable for temporary or seasonal living purposes,
and any dwelling units occupied by the owner, care-
taker, or superintendent.
To the Zoning Board of Appeals, Town of Wappinger:
On the basis of the above sections of the Zoning Ordinance
of the Town of Wappinger, I respectfully request the Board's
interpretation as to whether a camping site with facilities for
camping trailers, tents, etc., would fall under this category.
(By facilities I mean electricity, water and sewer connections,
etc. for overnight stays.)
