a. A VARIANCE IS REQUESTED for the following reasons:
I) Strict application of t. he Zonin~ Ordinance would produce undue hardship' becalJ,se:
due to medical reason I cannot drive a car and tha~ maRes me
unable to take a job elsewhere. I do not have a driver's licence.
2) The hardship created is unique and is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate
vicinity of this property and in this district because: r~'Yers Corners Rd is not a
quiet residential section of Wappingers Falls, rather a throroughfare
road. Our next door neighbor is Ketcham High School. vJe are surrounded
with commercial activities in the immediate neighborhood already.
3) The variance would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and would not change the character of
the district because: The framing and art shop \'lould only operate on a
small seale. By all means we want to preserve and renovate the
neglected old house as " residence and keep that profile. The shop
would opellate in the back of the house in one of the rooms l'lith private
