" Appellant is the prospective purchaser of a dwelling located at I' q 11 Wildwood Drive in the Town of Wappinger, New York. Those .! :! premises are zoned "R-20" pursuant to the terms of the Zoning , ;1 'j ~ ; ; Ordinance of the Town of Wappinger, New York. Appellant is a duly licensed beautician by the State of New York. She has heretofore conducted a modest beauty parlor business in the Village of Wappingers Falls, New York. In order to meet the prospective mortgage payments on the p:;-emises which are the subject of this application, appellant will have to earn approximately $15 to $20. per week. Appellant proposes to do "occasional hairdressing" for a few of her former customers. The maximum number of customers anticipated per week will not exceed 10. Appellant will not advertise her services, nor will there be a sign on the premises. Appellant contends that''occasional Hairdressing" is different from the operation of a "beauty parlor" within the meaning of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Wappinger, New York. Appellant hasreretofore applied to the Zoning Inspector for an interpretation of that portion of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Wappinger which deals with "custom home occupations". By decision dated December 3, 1965, the Zoning Inspector informed the appellant that her contemplated use of the subject premises would be inviolation i of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Wappinger.
