a. A VARIA:\'CE IS REQUESTED for the following reasons:
I) Strict application of the Zoning Ordinance would produce undue hardship because: It is
impossible t~ obtain additional lands adjacent, so as to increase
the lot width to comply with Section 422, Subsection 5. It is the
only remaining available parcel o~~ed by the appellant.
2) The hardship created is unique and is not shared by all prop erci es alike in the immediate
vicinity of this property and in this district because: the adj ac en t properties 1-lere
sold prior to zoning and the subject premises were laid out with
min~ums of road frontage under those adopted by zoning regulations
3) The variance would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and would not change the character of
the district because: the one stor~T residence proj ected would conform
in design with the adjoining and neighborhood residences

The regular meeting of the Town of Wappinger Zoning Board of Appeals
was called to order on Ootober 13, 1964, at the Town Hall, Mill
Street, Wappingers Falls.
Members present were:
Kermit Becker
Thomas Graham
John Zwynenburg
Robert L'Archevesque
Member absent:
David Koffsky
Others present:
Joseph Ludewig,
Madeline Evans
Minutes of the September ~, 1964, meeting and the September 24, 1964,
special meeting were read. Motion to approve both as read was made
by Mr. Graham, seconded by Mr. Zwynenburg and passed unanimously.
Minutes aocepted.
Appeal #26 - Raymond L. Vandreuil,. Myers Corners Road. Wants to
build an addition with'30-foot front set baok instead of 50-foot.
.Appeal #27 - Ward S. Soofield. Wants to oonstruot a residence on
Booth Blvd. West, Chelsea whioh would result in an la-foot side yard
set back.
Executive session followed. Discussion held.
l-Ieeting Deopened. Deoision was delayed on Appeal #26 pending personal
observation.
Decision was delayed on Appeal #27 also beoause aooording to the
offioial tax map, suoh lot does not exist.
Meeting adjourned 9:10 p.m.
