Adopting preliminary budget and at the same time set a public hearing for final acceptance. Diehl - Object to raise in salary for myself and omission of allowance for Chelsea Road. Fulton - the fact that we adopt this budget tonight we are acting pursuant to law that we're supposed to produce a budget by tomorrow mornin g. Clausen - you oan always knock it out, but there is not enough to begin with. Fulton - I'm not agreeing with everything in that budget as it is now. If you don't feel there is enough money in it. Franoese - two things you can up anytime you want to and one is highway. -2 - You cannot increase or decrease anything except fire districts or estimated revenues. Francese - you can increase any highway budget. Diehl - by a majority vote.
