RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BUILDING INSPECTOR TO ATTEND
SEAQ NAR
At the regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New
York, on the April 12, 2004.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following were present:

The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. Paoloni and seconded
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to authorize George Kolb, Building
Inspector, to attend a seminar on June 24, 2004 in White Plains, New York.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that George Kolb, Building
Inspector, is hereby authorized to attend a seminar on June 24, 2004 in White Plains,
New York, at a cost, not to exceed Three Hundred Seventy Nine dollars and 00/100
($379.00) for registration.
The foregoing was put to a vote, which resulted as follows:

Our Distinguished Faculty
James A. Boglioli served as assistant town attorney for the town of Oyster
Bay, where he represented the town in a wide variety of actions and
proceedings in state and federal courts. Mr. Boglioli joined the firm of Forchelli,
Curto, Schwartz, Mineo, Carlino & Cohn, LLP in March 2000, and concentrates
his practice in zoning, land use, environmental law, and litigation. In April
2000, Mr. Boglioli was appointed by Governor Patald as a statewide member
of the New York State Freshwater Wetlands Appeals Board. Mr. Boglioli has
acquired valuable experience from his prior affiliations with the United States
Environmental Protection Agency and the New York State Department of
Environmental Conservation. Mr. Boglioli is admitted to the New York and
District of Columbia Bars and is a member of the Environmental Law Sections
of both the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations. He received
his J.D. degree from Hofstra University School of Law.
Vincent R. Fontana received his undergraduate degree from the College of
the Holy Cross and his J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law,
where he was a member of the Law Review. Mr. Fontana is admitted to
practice in New York; the U.S. Supreme Court; the U.S. District Court, for the
Southern and Eastern Districts of New York; the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals,
Second Circuit; the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit; the U.S.
Circuit of Appeals, Ninth Circuit; the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Third Circuit
and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York. He is a
former member of the New York State Bar Association (Municipal Law Section);
a former member of the American Bar Association pndividual Rights Section;
Urban, State, and Local Government Section; Tort and Insurance Practice
Section); former chair of Governmental Liability Subcommittee of the Torts
and Insurance Practice Section and associate member of the International
Municipal Lawyers Association. A few of the types of cases he tried Include
violation of Voting Rights Act of 1965, violation of Civil Rights Act of 1871
(Section 1983), negligence and tort liability, zoning and land use problems,
and employment discrimination based on race, sex, national origin, and age. ? .
Mr. Fontana has authored many publications and has made many r.
presentations. He is the author of a text on municipal law entitled Municipal
Liability: Lain and Practice, published by Aspen Law Publishers.
John C. Jilnicki received. his undergraduate degree from C.W. Post College,
Long Island University and his J.D. degree from St. John's University School
of Law. He maintains a law practice in East Hampton, Long Island, New York
with a focus on real estate, planning, zoning estate, and general business
matters. Mr. JIInicki currently serves as deputy town attorney to the town.of
East Hampton, New York and has over 12 years' experience as a municipal
counsel.
