MASTERSON, TOWN CLERK Mr. Chris Colsey Supervisor January 4 2010 Town of Wappinger Falls RECEIVED 20 Middlebush Rd. Wappinger Falls, N. Y. 12590 JAN 0 5 2010 SUP'ERVISOR'S OFFICE Dear Supervisor; TOWN OF WgppINGER I as a town resident and a member of the board for the Sports Museum of Dutchess County which is a tenant at your Carnwath Farms Reese Cultural Center, have been looking into many ways to bring local and county residents to visit this beautiful complM I have taken the liberty to speak to the Southern Dutchess County Chamber (Ann Meagher) about holding a chamber breakfast in the chapel. Ms. Meagher and I have agreed this would be doable and has assigned a potential date of May 5th 2010. The Chamber would be responsible for setting up the event and all that would be required by the town is to use the facility and you or a town official be the welcoming host` As another means of gaining exposure for Carnwath, and being chairman of the Wappinger Greenway Trail Committee I would like to suggest you and the Town Board consider inviting the Albany Greenway Council and Conservancy to hold one of their quarterly meetings at Carnwath. This brings with it a lot of political exposure at local, county, state levels and I believe it would create a lasting impression on those in attendance, which could be very beneficial in gaining future grants. This process would require the Town to provide the facility, tables, chairs and breakfast items( ex; coffee, tea, juices, beagles, Danish ). In the interest of making these events happen I would be only to happy to help anyone you may assign from your office, if you and the town board consider either or both are viable projects for Carnwath. . . 11-- Ennesser Wnwav Comm. & MusTrustee Cc; R.J.
