most populous, celebrated its 100th anniversary with a lighting ceremony
Tuesday at East Main Street and Route 9 in Wappingers Falls. Kneeling in
the foreground is Supervisor Louis D. Diehl of Wappinger and in theback-
ground, at Taft, is Mayor J. Donald Synnett of Wappingers Falls. The large
symbolic cake was used in the 100th anniversary celebration of the Village
