Resolution Authorizing the Recruitment of Candidates to Fill Vacancies within the Town of
Wappinger
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on May 10,
2010.
The meeting was called to order by Christopher Colsey, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor

William H. Beale
Vincent F. Bettina
Ismay Czarniecki
Joseph P. Paoloni
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by
Councilwoman Czarniecki.
WHEREAS, the Town Board appointed Barbara Roberti to the position of Zoning
Administrator on April 26, 2010, and effective May 3, 2010; and
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists in the position of Planning Board Secretary and Zoning
Board of Appeals Clerk, formerly occupied by Barbara Roberti; and
WHEREAS, the positions of Planning Board Secretary and Zoning Board of Appeals
Clerk are necessary to administratively support the respective boards.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board hereby authorizes the
Town Supervisor and Town Clerk to seek letters of interest and resumes for the aforementioned
positions through local newspapers, postings by the Town Clerk and postings on the Town
website for consideration by the Town Board.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
