Subject: Vendor Estimates for new Park Signs
Town Board Members;
The Town of Wappinger Recreation has reviewed
all park entrance signs displaying major park rules,which
are outdated and need to be replaced. In the process of obtaining
quotes for new signs, we provided the latest information and
different color format at the request of our new safety
officer Mr. Doug Haan.
The following vendor quotes are for 15 units -
30" x 36" x .080 thick aluminum bright yellow background
with black letters and border.
Sign Language ------------------------- $ 2400
Hillman Signs -------------------------- $ 2625
Superior Signs -------------------------- $ 1500
It is the commissions recommendation to the board
members to consider Sign Language second lowest bidder
based on product quality verus the low bid of Superior Signs
and questionable quality. _ ~ _
