The Supervisor scheduled this meeting for the purpose of
consider.in,g a proposed. Local Lau to Amend the Zoning Map of
the Tc,ian of Wappinger to rezone the lvanoff Property for the
proposed construction of the=Upi_ne Shopping Center. Since the
Sui,ervisor received. notification from three residents that their

BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Toc,;n. of Wappinger
as follows:
Section 1. The Torun of Wappin-oer Zoning Map arl_opted
pursuant to Local I.,a.w #5 of 1.990, is hereby- amencled. by -
rezoning a portion of a par:_el of Land preser).tty owned by
Valdemar_ and Ilse Ivanoff from Residential R.-20 to Shopping
Center (,SC), said portion of the Ivanoff pa.reel_ being }More
particularly described in Schedule A, attached hereto and
made part hereof, and containing 10 acres of land, more or less.
The present, owners of the parc,el_, Valdema.r and Ilse Tvaneff,
live a.t. Losee Road, Wappingers Falls, Neje Yor1_i.
The tax grid_ number of the parcel_ is: 6:157-02-766660.
Section 2. This Local Law shall become effective
immediately.

Mrs. Smith continued with the requests to hook into the sever
system. There were actually two to act on since one was
approved at the last meeting-- oidia Valle, 7 Eck Road, and
Anne -Marie McCutcheon, 213 Cedar Hill Road. Mrs. Smith
explained that she has to contact. the Dutchess County Health
Department for permission for these hookups, they then
contact the D.E.C. for their approval and the final step is for
the Supervisor to contact Joe Margoliese, D.E.C. in White
Plains for final approval. This procedure is followed because
of the consent order the Town is under.
MRS. VISCONTI moved to allow Nidia Valle, 7 Eck Road and
Anne -Marie McCutcheon, 213 Cedar Hill Road, to hook into the
Wappinger Sewer Improvement Area #1, upon the approval of the
D.E.C. and the Dutchess County Department of Health, due to the
emergence situation that exists with their septic systems.

Jim Bedore from Paggi & Martin was present to report on the
bid that was opened on May 6th 1992, on the Test Boring
Contract. No. 1 for the Wappinger Sewer Transmission/Treatment
Improvement. Two bids were received and he recommended that the
bid be awarded to SoilsTesting, Inc., in the amount of $23,999.
low bidder. The high bid in the amount of $32,700 was submitted
by Soil & Material Testing.
MRS. VISCONTI moved that based on the recommendation of the
Engineer's Office and approval of the Performance Bond by the
Attorney, to award the bid for the Test. Boring Contract No. 1
to SoilTesting, Inc., as low bidder, and authorize the

Supervisor to sign the contract.

Mr. Mills asked the location ---Mr. Bedore explained this was
Phase II of Tri -Municipal Project which will eventually provide
for sewerage to be pumped from Rockingham through Regency Drive
along All Angels, up to Cedar Hill. along Old Hopewell Road;
it will go into the line that runs from Cedar Hill to Spook Hill
out to Roberts Road. They will b,e combined and Rockingham will
go into Oakwood.
There was no other business to cnme before the Board.
MRS. t'ISCONTI moved to close the Special :Meeting, sc=conded by
Mr. Wallace and unanimously carried.
The Meeting closed at 6:58 P.M.
