At a meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger held
at the Town Hall in the Village of Wappingers Falls, Dutchess
County, New York, on the 25th day of May, 1971.

THE WAPPINGER SEWER IMPROVEMENT in IN
THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER, DUTCHESS COUNTY,
NEW YORK, PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 12c OF
THE TOWN LAW.

WHEREAS a map, plan, and report have been prepared in such
manner and in such detail as has heretofore been determined by
thw Town Board of the Town of Wappinger relating to the Estab1ish-
ment of a proposed Sewer Improvement Area known as the Wappinger
Sewer Improvement #1 in the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, pursuant to Article 12c of the Town Law, and
WHEREAS said map, plan, and report have been duly filed in
the Clerk's office of the Town of Wappinger for public inspection;
and
WHEREAS said map, plan, and report were prepared by Rudolph E
LaPar,a competent engineer, duly licensed by the State of New
York, showing the bou~daries of the proposed district and a
general plan of the sewer system, and
WHEREAS an order was duly adopted by the Town Board on May 3r ,
1971, reci~ing the filing of said map, plan, and report, the im-
provements proposed, the boundaries oftbe proposed improvement
areai;.and the estimated expenses thereof and specifying May 17th,

1971~ at 7:30 p.m. as the time in the said Town Hall in the said
I TO\~l of Wappinger, as the place where the said Town Board would
meet to consider the map, plan, and report and to hear all persons
interested in the subject thereof, concerning the same, and
WHEREAS, a hearing in the matter was duly held by the Board
on this 17th day of May, 1971, commencing at 7:30 p.m. at the
Town Hall in the said Town and considerable discussion upon the
matter having been had and all persons desiring to be heard
having been duly heard including many of the rresident'S.; in per-
son and various other persons speaking in favor of the establish-
ment of the proposed improvement area;
NOW, upon the evidence given upon such hearing and upon
motion of Mr. Diehl

Mr. Ho 1 t
, Councilman and unaminously passed, it is
RESOLVED AND DETERMINED, that (a) the map, plan, and report
has been filed with the Town Clerk of the Town of Wappinger for
public inspection and it duly complies with Article l2c of the
Town Law and it is otherwise sufficient; (b) all the property
and property owners within the proposed improvement area are
benefited thereby; (c) all the property and property owners
benefited are included within the limits of the proposed improve-
ment area; and (d) :it is in the public interest to establi,sh the
Wappinger Sewer Improvement #1; and it is further
RESOLVED AND DETERMINED, that the establishment of a sewer
improvement area as proposed in said map, plan, and report be
approved; that the improvement therein mentioned be constructed
and the service therein mentioned be provided for upon the re-
quired funds being made available or provided for; and that such
improvement area shall be designated and known as the "Wappinger
