ASTERSON, TOWN CLERK Layoffs: At some point you had requested notice on projected layoffs. I'm planning to release Frank McKinney and John Migliore on the mowing crew week ending Oct. 2. I'd like to retain Vinnie LaVacca and John Sullivan, the remaining seasonal workers until first snowfall or week ending Dec. 4, whichever occurs first. Through this season we've been only able to maintain bare necessities for the parks to remain operational and I'd like to use this fall to do some of the larger jobs which have needed attention.
