LOGAN ASSESSOR (914) 297-8275 September 16, 1991 Town Board Town of Wappinger With regard to entry on the Assessment Roll of 1991 for levy of benefit charges in January, 1992, for the Wappinger Sewer Transmission/Treatment Improvement Area, the following appears to be the only satisfactory program and I would ask for your approval to enter the benefit units in this manner. ... Those properties in Phase 1 and Phase 2, that is Sewer #1, Rockingham and Sherwood Heights, will be assigned benefit units as per your schedule and direction for the Transmission segment of the improvement. These properties will also be assigned benefit units for the Treatment segment of the improvement. Those properties lying in Phase 3 will be assigned 75% of a benefit unit for the Transmission segment only. As an example: A single family property of less than 2 acres presently in Sewer #1 or Rockingham will be assigned one benefit unit in Wappinger Sewer Transmission Improvement and one benefit unit in Sewer Transmission/ Treatment Improvement. A single famly property of less than two acres lying outside Sewer #1, Rockinghamft',SHerwood Heights, but within the improvement area will be assigned .75~benefit unit for the Transmission portion only.
