Clerk's Bulletin Board on February 13, 1987. This meeting was called by
Supervisor Paino for the .purpose of awarding bids for highway materials
and equipment.
Bids for the various Highway Materials were opened on the lith of
February, 1987; the Highway Superintendent had forwarded a Bid Report
to the Board Members which is attached hereto and made part thereof
of the Minutes of this Meeting.
MR. FARINA moved to award the bids for the Highway Materials, Fuel
Oil and Gasoline to the companies recommended by the Highway Superin-
tendent.

Motion Unanimously Carried
Three bids on a dump truck for the Recreation Commission were
received and opened on the 13th of February, 1987, as follows:
Gallagher Truck Center $14,903.45
Dave Ball Chevrolet 14,247.63
Audia Motor Sales Inc. 16,930.00
The Recreation Commission recommended that the bid be awarded to
Gallagher Truck Center in the amount of $14,903.45. Although this
bid was not the lowest one, they chose this company as they are a
local company and it would be convenient for repairs and servicing
the vehicle. The lowest bidder was located in Syracuse, New York
and although they indicated that any Chevrolet dealer would perform
the warranty work, the Commission members did not feel comfortable
with this arrangement.
A purchase area of a 40 mile radius was also
specified in the bid specs.
MRS. VISCONTI moved to award the bid for the dump truck to Gallagher
Truck Center, Inc. at a total cost of $14,903.45, as recommended by
the Recreation Commission.
Seconded by Mr. Reis
Motion Unanimously Carried
