Notice of Hearing NOTICE OF BEARING UPON THE PROPOSED &.'.l'J!il'4SION OF THE HUGHSONVILUl LIGHTING DISTRICT Notice is hereby given 'that pursuant to the following order of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger a public hesring will be held to consider the extension of the Hughsonville Lighting District: WHEREAS, it is proposed to extend the Hughsonville Lighting District in an easterly direction to include certain areas between New York State High- ways, Route 9D and Route 9, and to more adequately define the boundaries of the existing Hughsonville Lighting District, the boundaries of which lighting district as proposed to be extended sre described more fully by metes and bounds as folloW's: BEGINNING at a point in the center of the Wappinger Creek, said point being in the division line between the Town of Poughkeepsie and the Town of Wappinger at the intersection of said division line with the east shore of the Hudson River; thence running in a northeasterly direction along said centerline and division line to a point at its intersection with the corporate line of the Village of Wappinger Falls; thence along said corporate line southerly, south- easterly and easterly to a point 200 feet easterly of the centerline of the New York state Highway, Route 9D; thence running in a southerly direction on a line parallel to and 200 feet distant easterly of the centerline of said high- way 1,300 feet more or less to a point in the centerline of the road known as MidcUebush Road; thence running in an easterly direction along the centerline of said road 1,600 feet more or less to a point, said point being on the ex- tension of the westerly line of a right of way leading into Cameli Acres, said westerly line of said right of way also being the westerly line of the Cameli Acres Lighting District; thence running along the boundary line of the said Cameli Acres Lighting District the following courses and distances N 250 46' W 236.4 feet, N 800 04' E 223.75 feet6 N 50 23' W 74.35 feet, N ~ 22' E 388.81 feet, N 160 51' E 277.71 feet, N 16 03' W 65.95 feet, N 410 46' W 75.14 feet, N 190 46' E 339.75 feet, S 780 36' W 73.24 feet and S 51' 15' W 934.84 feet to a point, said point being the southeasterly corner of the Cameli Acres Lighting District; thence running in an easterly direction 1,360 feet more or less, cross ing New York state Highway Route 9 at right angles, to a point 200 feet distant easterly of the centerline of said highway, said point also being 1,500 feet more or less southerly of the intersection of Route 9 and Middlebush Road; thene running in a southerly direction 2,300 feet more or less on a line Parallel to - 2 - and 200 f'eet distant easterly of' the centerline of' said Route 9 crossing the Hughsonv1lle-Hopewell Road to a point 400 f'eet distant southerly of' the said Hughsonville-Hopewell Road; thence rvnn:l.ng in a westerly direction 450 f'eet more or less along a line 'Which crosses New York State Highway Route 9 at a point 400 f'eet southerly of' the intersection of' said highway and the said Hughsonv1lle-Hopewell Road to a point in the westerly boundary of' the Wappinger Park Development; thence running along the boundary line of' said development the f'ollowing courses and distances B 80 11' W 515.10 f'eet, N 840 03' W 225.42 f'eet, N 140 05' W 140.51 feet, S 590 28' W 321.15 f'eet and S 590 45' W 487.35 f'eet to a point, said point marking the southerly corner of' lDt 3, Block H of' said development; thence continuing in a southwesterly direction 1,050 f'eet more or less to a point, at the southeasterly corner of' lands now or f'ormerly of' Noto; thence running in a northerly direction 2,150 f'eet more or less along the easterly boundary of' lands of' the said Noto to the northeasterly corner of' said lands; thence running in a southeasterly direction along the northerly boundary of' lands now or formerly of Noto, and Bennett 5,000 f'eet more or less, crossing a road known as Ketchamtown Road, to a point in the easterly line of' lands now or formerly of' IO.igerman; thence running in a northwesterly direction along the northerly line of' lands of the said IO.igerman 6>50 f'eet more or less to the center of Route 9D and continuing along said line 2,300 f'eet more or less to the northeasterly corner of lands of the said IO.igerman; thence running in a southwesterly direction along the northerly line of lands of the said IQ.igerman and lands now or formerly of Crawford 1,400 feet more or less to the north- westerly corner of lands of the said Crawford; thence running in a southerly direction along the westerly line of' lands of the said Crawford 800 f'eet more or less to a point at the intersection of stone walls; thence running in a southwesterly direction along a stone wall 1,500 feet more or less to a point in the centerline of the raod known as Wheeler Hill Road, said point being 1,300 f'eet more or less distant northwesterly from. the intersection of' said road and the road known as the Reeves By-Pass; thence running in a northwesterly direc- tion along the centerline of' said road 1,550 f'eet more or less to an angle in said road; thence running in a northerly direction along the centerline of said road 400 f'eet more or less to a point, said point being an extension of' the northerly line of lands now or f'ormerly of' the Good Council Novitiate; thence running in a westerly direction along the northerly line of' lands of the said Good Council Novitiate 800 f'eet more or less to a point on the east shore of' the Hudson River; thence running in a northerly direction along the east shore of' the Hudson River to the point or place of' beginning, and WHEREAS, it is proposed thatllghts shall be installed initially at the locations shown on the map of' said lighting district and subsequently at other locations to be designated by this Board within the proposed extension of' said lighting district;
