These signatures were collected according to state law under Proposition 414 so that the Grinnell Library Association may have the following proposition in- cluded on the November 4, 2008 ballot in the Town of Wappinger: "Shall the annual contribution of the Town of Wappinger for the operat- ing budget of the Grinnell Library Association be increased by the sum of $228,000 dollars to the sum of $542,874 dollars annually?"
