Further Comments Regarding Subiect Property:
Last year I was notified of the coming improvements for the Wappingers Sewer
Trans/Treat #3A, but was unable to attend the public hearing because of working
schedule (I work 2nd shift).
I was not aware that the charges for this improvement would be so unfairly decided upon.
As I understand it, the charges are the same for ALL regardless of property value, area,
usage, etc. So far, I don't recall being notified in writing, but when I contacted the
Assessor's office, it seems that we will incur these extra charges for the next 5 years.
In addition to the extra annual charge ($520.09 for year 2001), there will be an operation
and maintenance charge of$65.00 per quarter.

ComDarin2 my taxes from last year (2001) to current year (2002). my taxes were
incremented by 202.68%.
I live in a I-bedroom apartment in White Gate Condominiums, by myself and I'm
expected to pay the same amount as somebody living in a house with a family. Somehow
this doesn't seem fair.
1'm requesting that these charges be re-evaluated and that such charges be based on a
percentage of the property value, or the size of the property, since usage would be too
difficult too assess.
