MCCLUSKEY moved to award the bids for the various Highway Materials as recommended by the Highway Superintendent. Seconded by Mrs. Ballard -'-." Motion Unanimously Carried cn<- Mr. Versace had/more item to discuss in reference to a replacement for the position of Zoning Administrator since Mrs. Farnsworth had tendered her resignation to the Board effective March 8, 1985. His intent was to advertise for applicants for this position and he requested authorization from the Board Members. MRS. PAINO moved to authorize the Comptroller to advertise for applicants for the position of Zoning Administrator for the Town. Seeonded by Mr. McCluskey Motion Unanimously Carried Before the meeting closed Mrs. Snowden informed the Board that she was unable to advertise the Notice of Public Hearing on the Amendments to the Soil Ordinance since, first of all, the Amend- ments were not received in time from the Attorney, and secondly, what was finally received from the Attorney was another complete proposed Ordinance, not Amendments (the original Ordinance is still in force and has not been rescinded). It is believed the Board's intent was not to redo the whole Ordinance. Mrs. Snowden said, however, she would puhlish the entire Ordinance if so directed, although it was introduced by Mr. Incoronato as an Amendment. The Board agreed that the intent was definitely only ) "-' an Ordinance Amendment. MR. VERSACE moved to cancel the public hearing on the Amendments to the Soil Ordinance scheduled for March 4, 1985, and notify the Attorney to forward the Amendments to this Ordinance in the proper form prior to the March 4, 1985 meeting for the Town Clerk's and Town Board's review. ( ..., L '-' l 3 Seconded by Mr. McCluskey Motion Unanimously Carried Mr. McCluskey referred to the position of Zoning Administrator which is classified as a Civil Service Position and questioned whether the Civil Service List was exhausted for this position. Mr. Versace responded that there was one person on this list who was interviewed for position of Building Inspector and his office would send a letter tomorrow to see if he is interested, however, Mr. Versace felt that due to the salary he would not be interested. There was no other business to come before the Board. MR. MCCLUSKEY moved to close the Special Meeting, seconded by Mrs. Paino and unanimously carried.
