COLLIER CHAI~MAN MEETS SECOND WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH NEW Y 0 R K 125 3 7 February 20, 1973 Town Board of Wappinger lUll street Wappinger Falls, N. Y. Gentlemen: The Board of Fire Commissioners of the Hughsonville Fire District has instructed me to inform you of their concern in rendering adequate fire protection for the many proposed multiple dwellings and commer- cial develonments now under consideration in the town of Wappinger. It is the feeling of the Board that existing New York State fire code, now being the only requirement that builders must follow, is not adequate. The Board of Fire Commissioners of the Eughsonville Fire District therefore requests that the Town of Wappinger con- sider writing a fire code that would more adequately reflect the local condition as to equipment, existing water supply, etc. ~ tB:;;,rs, L~~' Collier, Diet.Sec. cc.
