Resident Owners of Real Property situated within the corporate bound- : aries of the Village of Wappingers Falls, annexed thereto October 7, 1958, for A Resolution changing the boundaries of the New Hackensack Fire District by exclusion therefrom of the terri- tory so annexed to the Village of Wappingers Falls. . . _____________________________________x TO THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER, DUTCHESS COUNTY, NEW YORK: WE, the undersigned, being resident taxpayers and the owners of taxable real property aggregating at least one-half (1/2) of the assessed valuation of all the taxable real property owned by resident taxpayers of that portion of the New Hackensack Fire District incorporated into the Village of Wappingers Falls, Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, on or about October 7, 1958, as shown upon the latest completed assessment roll of the Town of Wappinger, do hereby petition your Honorable Board to chan e the boundaries of the New Hackensack Fire District by excluding therefrom the incorporated portion of the district so annexed to the Village of Wappingers Falls, in which petitioners' property is located, pursuant to Section 182 of the Town Law. The property to be excluded and the subject of this petition is bounded and described as appears in the annexed Exhibit "A", which is made a part of this petition. P t ~ '(!''Le>"J, \ '7 r: 0 0) \1 Annexed hereto, made a part of this petition and labeled Exhibit liB" is a certified copy of a resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Wappingers Falls, wherein and whereby said Village assumes such portion of the total amount of the bon de and other indebtedness of such district as the assessed valuation, according to the last preceding Town assessment roll, of the territory so excluded and incorporated in such Village bears to the assessed valuation, according to the last preceding Town asses - ment roll, of the entire territory of such district before exclusi n of such part. No previous application has been made for the relief re- quested herein. WHEREFORE, petitioners respectfully request your Honorab e Board to adopt a resolution changing the boundaries of the New Hackensack Fire District be excluding therefrom the incorporated portion of the district annexed to the Village of Wappingers Falls on October 7, 1958.
