TO THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER, DUTCHESS COUNTY, NEW
YORK.
ARNOLD CECCHINI and VICKIE CECCHINI, (a/k/a ARNOLD E.
CHECCHINI and GUSSIE A. CHECCHINI), both of and residing at 1
Minuet Lane, Wappingers Falls, Dutchess County, New York, respect-
fully allege:
FIRS T:
petitioners are the owners of certain real
property, situate iD,-,e Village of Wappingers Falls, Town of
Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, which same is more particular y
described in Exhibit "AU, annexed to this petition, and which same
was acquired from Peter Aiello by deed dated July 14, 1950, and
recorded in the Dutchess County Clerk's Office on March 3rd, 1952,
in Liber 796 of Deeds at Page 566.
SECOND:
On or about the 12th day of June, 1964,
petitioners' property, herein described, together with other proper y,
totaling in all, approximately eighty (80) acres of land, was
annexed to the Village of Wappingers Falls.
THIRD:
At the time of said annexation, and at the
present time, said property of the petitioners, as well as a large
portion of the total acreage annexed to the Village of Wappingers
Falls at that time, was included within the district boundaries of
the New Hackensack Fire District. Annexed hereto and made a part
of this petition, labeled Exhibit '~", is a description of the
territory annexed to the Village of Wappingers Falls, included with n

the district boundaries of the New Hackensack Fire District.
FOURTH:
Petitioners' property, as appears upon the
latest completed assessment roll of the Town of Wappinger is asses d
for Four Thousand Six Hundred Fifty ($4,650.00) Dollars. Petition s
are the only resident taxpayers within the territory the subject 0
this petition, and therefore own taxable real property within said
territory aggregating at least one-half of the assessed valuation
of all the taxable real property owned by resident taxpayers of
that portion of the district incorporated.
FIFTH:
Annexed hereto, made a part of this petition
and labeled Exhibit nCt! is a certified copy of a resolution of the
Board of Trustees of the village of Wappingera:,Falls, wherein and
whereby said Village assumes such portion of the total amount of
the bonded or other indebtedness of such district as the assessed
valuation, according to the last preceding town assessment roll, 0
the territory so excluded and incorporated in such Village bears
to the assessed valuation, according to the last preceding Town
assessment roll, of the entire territory of such district before
exclusion of such part.
FIFTH:
No previous application has been made for the
relief requested herein.
WHEREFORE, petitioners respectfully request your honor-
able Board to adopt a resolution changing the boundaries of the Ne
Hackensack Fire District by. excluding therefrom the incorporated
portion of the district annexed to the Village of Wappingers Falls

BEGINNING at an iron pipe set at a corner of the proposed
right of way, said point being the northeast corner of lands
now or formerly Anthony Aiello and being S 670 44' E 191.88 feet
from the easterly side of the Albany Post Road, and continuing
from thence along the easterly line of Aiello S 220 18' W 65.02
