1984-01-05 SPMJ A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger ,was held on January 5, 1984, at the Town Hall, Mill Street, Village of Wappingers Falls, Dutchess County,New York. Supervisor Versace opened the meeting at 7:30 P.M. Present: Frank Versace, Supervisor Renata Ballard, Councilwoman Joseph Incoronato, Councilman Gerard McCluskey, Councilman Irene Paino, Councilwoman Elaine H. Snowden, Town Clerk Notice of this meeting was sent to all Board Members on January 3rd, 1984, calling said meeting for January 5th, 1984 at 7:30 P.M. Notices were also sent to the three newspapers and four radio stations and posted on the Town Clerk's Bulletin Board. Mr. Versace explained that the purpose of the meeting was to take action on the appointment of a Comptroller for the Town of Wappinger. MR. VERSACE moved that the Town Board recess for ten minutes to discuss this matter. Seconded by Mrs. Paino Motion Unanimously Carried The Town Board recessed at 7:31 P.M. The Town Board returned from their recess at 7:42 P.M. and the meeting was called back to order; all five Board Members were present. MR. VERSACE moved to dismiss Henry Cuatt as Comptroller for the Town of Wappinger effective immediately. Seconded by Mrs. Paino Roll Call Vote: 4 Ayes Mr. McCluskey ---Abstained TOWN BOARD, TOWN OF WAPPINGER DUTCHESS COUNTY, NEW YORK APPOINTING THE COMPTROLLER IN THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER The following resolution was offered by SUPERVISOR VERSACE who moved its adoption: RESOLVED, that Amelia Crosby be and she hereby is appointed to the office of Comptroller in the Town of Wappinger to serve in such capacity for a term ending on the 31st day of December 1985, and it is further RESOLVED, that the Comptroller be paid an annual salary of $23,000.00 payable every other 'riday throughout the year 1984, with 26 pay periods during such year, with the first payday to be January 6th, 1984. Seconded by: Councilwoman Ballard Roll Call Vote: 4 Ayes Mr. McCluskey ---Abstained There was no further business to come before the Board. MR.
