Re: Real Property Extension for Persons Deployed by Military
File No. 12951.0002 and 18096.0256
RECEIVED

TOWN CLERK
Dear Gloria:
To my knowledge, Dutchess County has not passed a resolution authorizing the extension
of real prope.tty tax collections for persons deployed by the military. If the County docs
not adopt a similar resolution, this could pose some logistical problems since the tax bilts
are generated through the Dutchess County Real Property Tax Service. Accordingly, I
would suggest that you send copies of Resolution No. 2004-189 to the Clerk of the
Dutchess County Legislature as well as to Ian G. MacDonald, Dutchess County Attorney,
for infonnation purposes.
