Re: Veterans Tax Exemption
Dear Ms. Snowden:
You referred a resolution to this office that was passed
at the meeting on February 4, 1985 and you asked as to what
effect that resolution would have if such a bill was enacted by
the State.
In the event the State took action we would have to look
at the language of that new bill as to whether it would replace
the existing legislation and until such new bill is drafted the
local law allowing the Veterans exemption is still in existence.
