TOWN OF WAPPINGER
TOWN CLERK
Dear Supervisor Colsey:
Based upon a low bid of $83,200.00, the Town Board awarded the above noted contract to Stoneykill
Contracting, Inc. On September 21,2010, the Town Engineer, Morris Associates, provided me with the
following original documents:
1. Western Surety Company Performance Bond dated September 15, 2010, bearing Bond No. 24817269,
naming the Town of Wappinger as Owner in the amount of $83,200.00 on behalf Stoneykill
Contracting, Inc. as Principal to insure completion of the above noted contract.
2. Western Surety Company Payment Bond dated September 15, 2010, bearing Bond No. 24817269,
naming the Town of Wappinger as Owner in the amount of $83,200.00 on behalf of Stoneykill
Contracting, Inc. as Principal to insure payments on the above noted contract.
3. Acord Certificate of Liability Insurance insured through National Grange Mutual Ins. naming Stoneykill
Contracting, Inc. as Insured with the Town of Wappinger as additional Insured and including proof of
Worker's Compensation Insurance Coverage. The certificate meets or exceeds the minimum coverage
amounts required by the Town of Wappinger.
I have reviewed the above noted documents and I approve their form and determine that they comply with the
requirements of the contract and the procedures of the Town of Wappinger. I further find that they are properly
executed in accordance with New York Law.
Please arrange for a contract signing as soon as possible and notify this office of the time and place. I will
deliver the original documents at that time. Three (3) duplicate original contracts should be signed. After the
contracts are signed, the originals of these documents, together with one (1) signed contract, should be delivered
to the Town Clerk for filing in the contracts file for future reference.
Please contact me if you have any further questions.
Very truly yours,
1
