Dear Supervisor Colsey,
December 31, 2010

I am responding to a notice placed in the Poughkeepsie Journal newspaper advising
of an open position on the town planning board.
I am very interested in filling that position as a member of the Planning Board.
I have 20 years of experience in the construction industry at all levels. I can read
blueprints and topographic maps. I have a superior knowledge of road construction
and traffic patterns and a thorough understanding of site specific infrastructure.
I have been employed by the New York State Police for 23 years. I have received
extensive training in Department of Transportation Policy and Guidelines. I have
spent the last 15 years as a member of The New York State Police Bureau of
Criminal Investigation. As an Investigator for the BCI I have investigated hundreds
of cases, involving a broad spectrum of crimes. This experience has given me the
ability to extrapolate facts and figures from a variety of sources and present them in
a clear, concise format to disseminate to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
I believe I would be an asset to the Planning Board and serve the People of the Town
of Wappinger diligently and honestly.
Resume' to follow.
