This meeting was set by the Supervisor at the regular meeting
held September 14, 1981, and notices were sent to the three
newspapers and four radio stations and also posted on the
Town Clerk's Bulletin Board.
Supervisor Diehl stated that the purpose of this meeting was for
the Town Clerk to submit the Tentative Budget of 1982 to the
Town Board, and out of respect for our Highway Superintendent,
Bill Horton, who passed away on Sunday, he stated that no other
business be conducted.
The Town Clerk then informed the Town Board that she had received
the Tentative Budget of 1982 from the Comptroller's Office on
September 30th, 1981, and as required by Town Law, she was now
presenting it to the Town Board.
Mr. Versace then submitted a proposed Budget for a Town Water
and Sewer Department and asked that it be used at the work shop
sessions of the Town Board and it be discussed along with the
Tentative Budget. He presented four copies of this budget to the
Town Clerk.
Mrs. Mills voiced an objection, Mr. Versace countered that he
simply requested the Board to review it.
No other business was conducted at this meeting.
MR. DIEHL moved to close the Special Meeting, seconded by
Mrs. Mills and unanimously carried.
