Dear Lauren,
After our discussion last week concerning the lighting issues with the adjacent car
dealership the following is supplied for your review. A lengthy research of the previously
approved site (1994) was conducted by me on the plans and site for that structure
consisting of the file for that project.
Based on my findings and as you can see the previously approved plans, all lighting is
indicated on the building plans. These fixtures are indeed placed on the building
according to the plans with those wattages outlines. It appears that no additional lighting
fixtures have installed on the building.
Also based on my inspection and research two rear located parking lot lights that are on
the edge of the property are not currently working as of this date. They currently are not
functioning and after discussions with the site manager they are not currently planning on
using them at this time.
Although I understand your concerns, this is in fact an approved plan and was
constructed according to the building plans at that time.
I will contact the owner of the site to discuss some possible mitigation to your concerns
to the lighting issues as was discussed at your home to possibly address some of your
concerns.
I will also plan to visit the site during night time hours to witness the lighting patterns for
the site as well.
I will contact you once these items are complete with my findings.
