Here is a description of the event, if you need it: A rain barrel is used to capture run off from roofs during a storm. Once the water is collected in a barrel, the water can then be used to water your lawn or garden on days when there is not so much rain. At the end of this rain barrel building workshop, you will with your own functional and ready to install a rain barrel! Due to the costs associated with this event, there is a small $10 fee and a sign-up. Spaces are limited, so sign=up now with Wappinger Creek Watershed Intermunicipal Council member, Eileen Sassmann byemailingherat:Eileen@Leveragelnc.Biz or calling her at (845) 297-2405.
