Miscellaneous Town Code Revisions
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide the Town Board with a list
of needed Town Code provisions which has been compiled based upon
recent discussions between the Town Attorney, Town Engineer, Town
Zoning Administrator and myself. These suggested revisions pertain to the
following matters:

Noise Ordinance revisions
. Coordination of Zoning Law and Subdivisions Regulations with
respect to acceptance of roads
. Two-year maintenance bonds
. Revision of Town highway specifications
. Miscellaneous revision of Subdivision Regulations
· Paper roads (dealing with)
· Zoning
o Special Use Permit for accessory buildings greater than a
certain size; access to accessory buildings larger than a
certain size
o Clarification of requirement for underground utilities for site
plans as well as subdivisions
o Provision for assisted living facilities

o Blimps, balloons and the attention getting devices

o Grading for in-ground pools
o Accessory apartments (after vacated and what constitutes an apartment)
o Grading permits: smaller escrow for smaller projects
o Selling of vehicles on private property: time limit and number of sales per
year
o Parking of vehicles and trucks (storage?)
o Registration of non-conforming uses
