A Public Hearing was held by the Town Boards of the Town of
Wappinger and Fishkill on Monday, September 22n, 1975 at Town
Hall Mill Street, Wappingers Falls, New York, on the Application
of the Hughsonville Fire District and the Chelsea Fire District
for leave to alter the boundaries of each respective Fire District.
Supervisor Diehl called the Hearing to order at 7:32 P.M.

The Town Clerk of Wappinger and the Town Clerk of Fishkill offered
for the record the Affidavits of Posting and the Affidavits of
Publication.
Mr. Russell Aldrich, Attorney spoke in favor of the petition and
explained that the Application was made on behalf of the Chelsea
Fire District and the Hughsonville Fire District for permission
to straighten the boundary lines between them and it covered
portions of the two Towns.
No one objected to the Petition.

sworn, depose and say:
That they are the duly elected, qualified and acting
Town Clerks of the Town of Wappinger and the Town of
Fishkill, County of Dutchess and State of New York,
respectively.
That on September 11, 1975, your deponents posted
copies of the attached notice of Public Hearing on the
Alteration of Boundary of Hughsonville Fire District and
the Chelsea Fire District, on the signboards maintained
by your deponents in their offices respectively in the
Town Halls of the Town of Wappinger, Mill Street, in the
Village of Wappingers Falls, Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York and the Town Hall Main Street, Town of
Fishkill in the Village of Fishkill, Dutchess County, New
York.

NOTICE 1S HEREBY given the Town
Board of the Town of Wappinger and the
Town Board of the Town of.Fishkill will
hold a public hearing; jointly, for the
purposeof hearing all persons interested'
concerning a proposed alteration of the
boundary of the Hughsonville Fire
District and the Chelsea Fire District.
Said public hearing will be held on the
22nd day of September, 1975, at the Town
Hall, Town of Wappinger at 7:30 o'clock
in the evening thereof. The alteration of
said boundary shall consist of:
"That portion of the existing commom
boundary line of the said two fire
districts which extends from the
easterly line of Route 90 on the east to
the easterly bank of the Hudson River on
the west shall be relocated along the
following described line, which said line
shall henceforth be the said common
boundary line, and all lands north of said
following described line shall henceforth
be included in Hughsonville Fire District
and ail lands south of said following.

side of Route 90 where an existing fire
district sign marks the point where the
existing fire district' boundary line

a pant that Is distant S 74 deg. 11' 42" W
