Subject: Application of Bolivar Almeida for Site Plan Approval
and a Special Use permit.
At the October 7th, 1974 meeting, the Planning Board of the
Town of Wappinger adopted the fOllowing resolution:
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger Planning Board has received an
application from Bolivar Almeida for site plan approval and a
Special Use Permit to make legally conforming three additional
existing dwelling units on his property located on the easterly
side of Mac Farland Road, in the Town of Wappinger, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on said application at
the Town Hall, Mill street, Wappingers Falls, New York, on
Monday, September 16th, 1974, and
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger Planning Board reviewed said
application and referred it to the Dutchess County Department of
Planning in accordance with Sections 239-1 and 239-m of General
Municipal Law and a recommendation was received from said Board
dated May 22nd, 1974.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Town of Wappinger
Planning Board approves the site plan entitled "Site Plan, Lands
of Almeida, 3-Apartments, Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York", prepared by Anthony T. Rowan, P.E. & L. S ., and dated
revised May 10th, 1974.
IT IS, THEREFORE, RECOMMENDED THAT a Special Use Permit be
issued subject to the following conditions:
1. The driveway shall be widened to 20 feet and shall not
be used as a parking area.
2. Plantings or fencing shall be required on the westerly
property line from the north line to the' south line of the
property in order to control ingress and egress to the property.
3. All sump pumps and storm drains shall be connected to the
Town's storm drainage system.

4. The Zoning Administrator shall insure that all uses on
the property conform to the zoning Ordinance prior to
issuing a Special Use permit.
5. The zoning Administrator shall insure that conditions
1, 2, and 3 are complied with to the satisfaction of the
Town of Wappinger Superintendent of Highways.
