RE: ALPINE-SITE PLAN MODIFICATION AGREEMENT

Dear Herb:
In furtherance of last Monday's Planning Board meeting, and the
report given by Joseph E. Paggi, Jr., P.E. to the Town, it
appears that Alpine has completed all of the items required under
the Site Plan Modification Agreement dated August 20, 1993.
Pursuant to paragraph 13 thereof, the Planning Board was
authorized to return the security to Alpine upon Alpine's
completion of the contract terms.
Accordingly, you will be authorized to release the Letter of
Credit upon completion of the following items by Apline:
1) Written extension of the Landscape Performance Bond for
an additional 90 days through August I, 1994;
2) Submission of the revised amended Site Plan and
Endorsement thereon by Alpine;
3) Endorsement by Alpine of the Planning Board resolution
adopted 12/6/93;
Please be sure to have me review a copy of the Extended Landscape
Performance Bond.

P.S. I have reviewed the Endorsement to the Hartford Insurance
Group Performance Bond dated December 7, 1993 extending the Bond
to August 1, 1994 and I find the same acceptable as to form.
