RESOLUTION APPROVING ARCHITECTURAL SUBMISSION
ALPINE SHOPPING CENTER

At a special Meeting of the planning Board of the Town of
Wappinger, held at the Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers
Falls NY on the 12th day of November 1992.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Keller, and upon roll being called
the following were:

The following resolution was offered for adoption by Mr. DiNonno who moved this
adoption, seconded by Mr. Musto to wit:
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Town of wappinger Zoning Law as last revised,
The Alpine Company of poughkeepsie has submitted to the Planning Board
an application for the approval of a site plan titled:
ALPINE COMMONS SHOPPING CENTER
prepared by C. T. Male Associates, P. C.
located on sheet 6157-02, parcels 707773; 687634; and part of 766660 of the Town
of Wappinger Tax maps, and
WHEREAS such application has received conditional approval by resolutions of the
planning Board dated May 2, 1991; July 30, 1992; september 9, 1992 and October
19, 1992, and

WHEREAS such resolutions required various conditions to be completed,
submissions to be delivered and/or modifications to submitted maps to be made,
and
WHEREAS the applicant has submitted for review the following Architectural
Material:
ARCHITECTURAL PRESENTATION MATERIAL;
The following materials were submitted as part of the original
submission:
a) Red Brick Sample
b) Sign letter; individually lit sample
c) Dryvit (stucco) wall outerface & insulation system sample
d) EDPM membrane material sample
e) Metal canopy roofing sample
f) Aluminum Storefront Frame sample, and
will be utilized in the construction of liB. J. IS Wholesale" retail
structure, and
The following materials were submitted as part of the November 12, 1992
submission for the "stop & Shop Grocery Store" structure:
a) Cedar (wood) Stripping Material sample
b) Red Brick sample
c) Front & side elevation plans indicating location of various
materials
and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED;
that the ARCHITECTURAL SUBMISSION MATERIAL
for B. J. 's Warehouse Club is deemed complete and acceptable to the Planning
Board, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the ARCHITECTURAL TREATMENT of the stop & Shop
Grocery Building, be modified in the following manner:
For the south elevation (front face) of the building:
the proposed narrow Cedar Band, Red Brick facing and Shingled roof is
acceptable, although a better grade of roof shingling should be considered;
the wide, diagonal, cedar facing of the "store front" element shall be replaced
by a "stucco" or "dryvit" material in a contrasting color.
For the East elevation (side face): a "split faced" block shall be used.
For the North elevation (rear face): a plain concrete block is acceptable.
For the West elevation (side face):
The architectural treatment of the satellite stores, when constructed shall
continue the approved south elevation treatment around this side of the
structure, in a manner to be further reviewed and accepted by the Board. The
applicant shall submit to the Board, prior to February 1, 1993, the proposed
architectural treatment of the satellite stores.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there shall be not construction on the "face" (South
Elevation) of the "stop & Shop" building until the final materials are approved
by the Planning Board, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following maps, as dated, are deemed to be the
maps approved (as to details of construction) in compliance with the
requirements of the aforesaid Resolutions of Conditional Approvals.
