Education:
Graduated Fordham University with a degree in
Political Philosophy. Completed several
management seminars at the American
Management Association; successfully completed
week-long seminars "Dynamics of Successful
Selling" and "Dynamics of Successful
Management"; spent three years of high school at
College St. Charles, France.
Employment History:
1993 & 1994: Hickory Farms, Maumee Oh.
Store manager for their largest unit in
division. Only unit to attain sales budget in alloted
time. ~~~9~al employment only for last quarter of
each (Claendei) year. Promoted to supervisor for

Only region to attain budget in District.
1991-Present: ERA Advanced Realty Service

Licensed Real Estate Agent. As a self-
employed agent responsibilites included all phases
of marketing real properties: staging; advertising;
market research; financing and closing.
1988-1991: Owner/Operator of Wines etc.
A $475,000 per annum retail store of fine
wines & spirits. When purchased sales were less
than $250,000 per year. With improved consumer
policies, re-training of personnel, expanded
selection of merchandise, and imaginative

merchandising sales continually improved with a
commensurate improvement in profits.
1980-1988: New York Post:
Senior Account Executive in the National
Advertising Department. Initially responsible for
Food & Beverage advertising but promoted to
fmancial advertising after a short orientation
period.Function was to interact with senior
executives of savings and loan companies, savings
banks, and investment houses and their respective
advertising agencies for best placement of
advertising. Six months later was given objective of
developing the category of Colleges & Universities.
Through the introduction of new advertising
environments, the category was transformed from
virtual non-existence to one generating in excess of
$750,000 per annum. Following year, was
promoted to the second-largest category -
Communications & Public Utilities while still
holding Colleges & Universities. Clients included
NYNEX, ATI, GTE, Sprint, MCI, Con Edison,
LILCO. Category grew to more than $13 million
due to effective client contact and improved agency
co-ordination. A basic function was to research
demographics and demonstrate to clients and
agencies the benefit to them of using the New York
Post.
1973-1980: California Canners & Growers:
At the time, one of the nation's oldest
grower-owned co-operatives headquartered in San
Francisco. Functioned as Northeast Sales &
Marketing manager for a $31 million market of
brand & Private label canned food products.
Managed a network of five sales offices in the
BuffalolRochester; Syracuse NY; Albany NY;

Metro NY; and entire New England markets.
Introduced new line of canned fruits,
developed incentive programs for sales force
and advertising co-op programs for
customers, developed and implemented line
extension programs for branded products,
identified specific customers and custom-
made programs for expanding business,
provided home-office with market research
based primarily on A.C. Nielsen and SAMl
data relative to competative activity and
product extension opportunities.
1967-1973: Del Monte Corp.
Senior sales representative for the
San Francisco food giant responsible for a
book of chain headquarters which included
Grand Union, Shopwell (today Food
Emporium), and a number of large
wholesalers and co-ops including General
Trading, Associated Foods, and others in the
Metro New York Market.Responsibilities
included securing co-operation from
customers to participate in major
merchandising and sales promotion events,
extension of product line, co-ordination of
coupons of new items, ordering, shipping, and
keeping customers aware of changing market
trends which could adversely affect their
business.

1966-1967: Stern's Department Stores:
Upon completion of military service
returned to previous employment and position
with Stem's Department Stores. After a full
year decided to leave to pursue greater
opportunities.
1964-1966: Military Service, Ft. Lewis, WN
Having earned a commission through
the ROTC program in college, called to active
duty jIIld. s~rved as Deputy Operations Officer
and \'Q~if) Administration Officer of the
Provost Marshal for the second-largest
Military Police Operation in the U.S. Exercised
operational control . over more than one
thousand @litarypersonne.1as well as general
supervision of the civilian administrative staff.
As security oficer for the unguarded base, re-.
created the security SOP which was submitted
to the Commanding General of both Fort Lewis
and Sixth Army in California and was
substantially approved and implemented.
Because of the high degree of military activity
in the area, co-ordinated espionage, sabotage
and theft investigations with the resident agents
off the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and
BATFas well as criminal activities involving
non-military personnel!.
