General: This unit is designed for and capable of simultaneous high pressure jetting and vacuuming for the removaJ of sand, grit. grease, sludge, stones and other materials from sanitary sewers, storm sewers, catch basins, pumping stations, and other facilities. The foregoing remedies shall be the sole and exclusive remedies of any party making a valid warranty claim. This Limited Warranty shall not apply to (and the Company shall not be responsible for): 1. Major components or trade accessories that have a separate warranty from their original manufacturer, such as, but not limited to, trucks, engines, hydraulic pumps and motors, tires and batteries. 2. Illinois Street Streator, IL 61364 . . - V ACTOR EXTENDED LIMITED WARRANTY - 2 YEAR - 3 YEAR - 4 YEAR - 5 YEAR _ - Each machine manufactured by V ACTOR/GUZZLER MANUFACTURING ("V ACTOR" or the "Company") is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months or 2000 hours provided the machine is used in a normal and reasonable manner. V ACTOR offers for purchase a second, third, fourth and fifth year Extended Limited Warranty "EL W" for continuation of warranty coverage after the initial 12 month 2000 hour warranty has expired. The extended year(s) warranty is applicable only to the original user-purchaser for the period of the EL W that has been purchased (as measured trom the date of delivery to the original user-purchaser) and is not transferable. - During the Extended Limited Warranty Period V ACTOR will cause to be repaired or replaced, as the Company may elect, any part or parts such machine that the Company's examination discloses to be defective in material or workmanship. Repairs or replacements are to be made at the selling V ACTOR distributor's locations or at other locations approved by V ACTOR. - The V ACTOR Extended Limited Warranty shall not apply to: - I. Major components or trade accessories such as but not limited to, chassis, auxiliary engines, blowers, and transfercases, which carry a separate extended warranty offered by the original manufacturer (purchased direct and separate trom V ACTOR extended warranty). 2. Normal adjustments and maintenance services (note: the Extended Limited Warranty is not a maintenance agreement, nor a maintenance contract). 3. Consumable parts such as but not limited to, oils, fluids, filters. 4. Normal wear parts with an expected limited service life such as but not limited to, hydraulic hoses, suction hoses, tubes, seals, belts. 5. Failures resulting trom the machine being operated in a manner or for a purpose not recommended by VACTOR. 6. Repairs, modifications or alterations made without the express written consent of V ACTOR, which in the Company's sole judgment, have adversely affected the machine's stability, operation or reliability. 7. Items subject to and failures resulting trom misuse, negligence, accident or improper maintenance. - . . . *NOTE* The use in the machine of any part other than parts approved by V ACTOR may invalidate this warranty. V ACTOR reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, if the use of non-approved parts operates to invalidate the warranty. Nothing contained in this warranty shall make V ACTOR liable for loss, injury, or damage of any kind to any person or entity resulting trom defect or failure in the machine. TO THE EXTENT LIMITED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. This warranty is also in lieu of all other obligations or liabilities on the part of V ACTOR, including but not limited to, liability for incidental and consequential damages on the part of the Company or the seller. V ACTOR makes no representation that the machine has the capacity to perform any functions other than as contained in the Company's written literature, catalogs or specifications accompanying delivery of the machine. No person or affiliated company representative is authorized to alter the terms of this warranty, to give any other warranties or to assume any other liability on behalf of V ACTOR in connection with the sale, servicing or repair of any machine manufactured by the Company.
