Re: Central Park Homes Subdivision
- Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York
Dear Mr. Vandewinckel:
Weare in receipt of a copy of letter directed to the Planning Board of
the Town of Wappinger under date of July 17, 1967 by Messrs. Brent and Phillips,
counsel for the developer of the above captioned subdivision.
The letter of Mess:cs. B:cent and Phillips amounts to a request for an
extension of time to apply for final approval of the subdivision for a period of
six months from August 7, 1967. The declared basis for the request is the in-
ability of the developer to mak8 appropriate ar:cangements for sanitary sewer
s2rvice. Problems i::1Volving the Oakwood :'~.~.olls Sewer District and L & A

Iuture o)erated by the Town. Of course, any such arrangements sup)oses that
t:.:e developer will be obliged to make necessary installations and to dedicate
the sS.=--.G.e to the Town free and clear of incumbrances and without charge. To
the best of O"J.r klowledge, neither counsel nor the developer have approached
town oii'icizJs to date.
It would be our recommendation that the Planning Board extend the
developer's time to apply for final approval for a period not to exceed three
months. Such extension should be conditioned upon the developer's diligent pur-
suit the course of action which we have previously recommended.
Very truly yours,
Joseph D. Quinn, Jr.
