Richard Rosenberg, Chelsea Ridge Associates 1 Chelsea Ridge Dr., Wappingers Falls, N.Y. 12590 Ra: Chelsea Ri,dge Apartment Seation 5, Chelsea Road, CR 92, Town of Wappinger, New York. Dear Mr. Rosenberg: We are in receipt of your letter dated June 9, 1977 and revised copy o.f plans for above-referenced project. Following comments refer to three items you have stated in your letter. 1. Revised site plan which shows the elimination of circular drive satisfies our concern in regards to vehicles entering and exiting at County Road 92. 2. Wef are also in agreement with the concept that would allow culvert pipe under CR 92 near John Costa's property to discharge into proposed ponding area. (Spillway elevation of existing dam indicates there will not be any water backup to this culvert.) 3. As I indicated in my letter of April 20, 1977, existing 24" RCP culvert under CR 92 in the vicinity of the main entrance of Chelsea Ridge Apartments will be affected by increased storm water runoff. Therefore, an additional adequate drainage discharge opening must be provided at this crossing. This can be accomplished either by replacing this culvert with a larger diameter pipe or installing a second cuI vert near the existing one. We agree and accept your willingness for improve- ment of this culvert along the above-mentioned concept and recommend that Town of Wappinger Planning Board consider your offer and suggestion as indicated in your letter to handle this drainage ma tter. Mr. L. Richard Rosenberg, Chelsea Ridge Associates......Page 2 will issue you the permit necessary for this drainage improvement work upon review and approval of your proposal. Very truly yours, PETER N. ANAGNOS, P.E~r L.S. Director of Engineering ~7~~ By: Can Tekben Asst. Engineer CT:v I cc Town of Wappinger Planning Board 6/17/77
