A Public Hearing was held by the To'4n Board of the Town of
Wappinger on November 27, 1972, at the Town Hall, Mill Street,
Wappingers Falls, New York, on Ordinance Amending the Zoning
Ordinance of the Town of Wappinger (Sect. 421 Subd. 3).
Supervisor Diehl opened the hearing at 7:28 P.M.

the Minutes of this Hearing.)
No one spoke for or against the Amendment.
MR. HOLT moved to close the hearing seconded by Mr. Clausen and
carried.

ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER
The following ordinance was Introduced by Councilman Clausen who moved Its
.adoption.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutcheas 1
County, New York, pursuant to the authority conferred by the laws of the State of
New York, as MOI lows:
Section 1: Section 421, Subdivision 3,1s hereby amended to road as follows:
"Section 421 A
3. Farm use, farm produce stand, zoological farm or park, zoo, game farm,
ntrsery end peen house, provided that no unenclosed storage or manure, or odor or )
dust producing substance shall be permitted within one hundred (100) feat of any
street or residential property line.
' Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect Immediately upon adoption, posting
and publication as prescribed by Town Law.

THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER
DUTCHESS COUNTY, NEW YORK
The undersigned, being all of the members of the Town Board
of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, do hereby
waive notice of the time and place of the holding of a Special
Meeting of said Town Board, and do hereby agree and consent that
the sane be held on the 27th day of November, 1972 at 7:30 o'clock
in the afternoon of that day at the Town Hall of the Town of Wappinger,
Mill Street, in the Village of Wappingers Falls, Town of Wappinger,
Dutchess County, New York, for the transaction of all business which
may properly come before the meeting or any

A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was
held on November 27, 1972, at 7:30 P.M. at the Town Hall, Mill
Street, Wappingers Falls, New York.
All Board members being_present, and having signed the above
Waiver of Notice of Special Meeting, each for himself, Supervisor

Diehl called the meeting to order at 7:38 P.M.
A memo was received from the Supervisor's Office indicating that
obligations on the Oakwood Knolls Sewer and Water Bond Anticipation
Notes become due and payable on November 30, 1972. Since there was
no moneys in either account, a transfer from General Fund Surplus
was requested in order to meet the interest due on these two B.A.N's.
The following resolution was offered by COUNCILMAN CLAUSEN who moved
its adoption:
WHEREAS, during

or appropriated, now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that $1,778.70 of said "surplus moneys" from the
General Fund, be and hereby is transferred to Account #SS1-9730.7-
Oakwood Knolls Sewer District Debt Service, Interest, and that
said amount is to be refunded to the General Fund from this District's
account as soon as funds are available.

The following resolution was offered by COUNCILMAN CLAUSEN, who
moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, during the present fiscal year the Town of Wappinger
has received moneys from sources other than loans, which are not
otherwise committed or appropriated,
Now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that $1,152.00 of said "surplus moneys" from the
General Fund be and hereby is transferred to Account #SWI -9730.7
Oakwood Knolls Water District -Debt Service Interest, and that
said amount is to be refunded to the General Fund from this
District's account as soon as funds are available.

Roll Call Vote: 5 Ayes 0 Nays
The Board, having authorized the Highway Superintendent to solicit
bids for a Sand Spreader, was informed that two bids were received
and opened for this item on November 24, 1972 at 10:30 A.M. Bids
received were from: Ralph C. Herman Co. Inc. $3,566.00.1ess
$2,400. (for trade—in on Wood Chipper) for a total bid price of
$1,166.00; and, John J. King of Monroe, Inc. @ $2,589.35 less $100.
(for trade-in on Wood Chipper) for a total bid price of $2,489.35.
Mr. Horton, Superintendent of Highways recommended the bid for 1
Material Spreader be awarded to Ralph C. Herman Co. Inc. as low
bidder.
MR. CLAUSEN moved that the recommendation of the Highway Superin-
tendent be accepted and the bid for 1 Material Spreader be awarded
to Ralph C. Herman Co. Inc. @ $1,166.00 total bid price, as the
low bidder.
Seconded by Mr. Jensen.
Motion Unanimously Carried
Mr. Clausen brought up the problem of a leak in the Supervisor's
Office indicating a leak somewhere on the roof. He asked that the
Town Clerk be given authorization to seek informal estimates for
repairs to the roof, and further, that Mrs. Snowden make a list of
other critical repairs that need immediate attention; try to get
informal estimates on them, and submit them to Mr. Jensen and him-
self.
MR. HOLT moved the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Mr. Clausen
and unanimously carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:47 P.M.
