WAIVER OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL
MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF
THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER
DUTCHESS COUNTY, NEW YORK
The undersigned, being all of the members of the Town Board
of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, do hereby waive
notice of the time and place of the holding of a Special Meeting of
said Town Board, and do hereby agree and consent that the same be
held on the 20th day of October, 1970, at 7:00 o'clock in the
afternoon of that day at the Town Hall of the Town of Wappinger,
Mill Street, in the Village of Wappingers Falls, Town of Wappinger,
Dutchess County, New York, for the transaction of all Lousiness which
may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof.
Due and timely notice of the above mentioned meeting is hereby
admitted.

The above waiver of notice of meeting having been signed by all
members of the Town Board, each for himself, Supervisor Diehl called
the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.
MR. DIEHL moved that the Superintendent of Highways, William Horton,
be authorized to advertise for bids for an additional garage for the
Town Highway Department. Seconded by Mr. Finnan.
Motion Unanimously Carried

MR. FINNAN moved the following resolution:
RESOLVED, that unless the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger
receives a completed feasibility study on the expansion of Rockingham
Farms Sewer District from Milton Chazen Associates, Engineers to the
Rockingham Farms Sewer District, by the next Regular Town Board
Meeting on November 9, 1979, it will be necessary that they be
relieved of their duties as Engineer to the Rockingham Farms Sewer
District.
Seconded by: Mr. Mills
Motion Unanimously Carried
MR. DIEHL moved that a public hearing be set for November 2, 1970,
at 7:30 P.M. at the Town Hall, Mill Street, Wappingers Falls, New
York on the operating budgets and the Benefit Assessments for the
Fleetwood Manor Sewer and Water Districts. Seconded by Mr. Mills.
Motion Unanimously Carried
MR. MILLS moved the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Mr. Finnan
and unanimously carried.
Meeting adjourned at 7:50 P.M.

RESOLVED, that this Town Board does hereby prepare and approve
as the preliminary budget of this Town for the fiscal year beginning
on the 1st day of January, 1971, the itemized statement of estimated
revenues and expenditures hereto attached and made a part of this
resolution, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED,that such preliminary budget shall be filed
in the office of the Town Clerk where it shall be available for
inspection by any interested person at all reasonable hours, and
be, it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Board shall meet at 7:30 o'clock PM
on the 29th day of October 1970, for the purpose of holding a public
hearing upon such preliminary budget, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk give notice of such public
hearing in the manner provided in Section 113 of the Town Law, and
that such notice be published and posted in substantially the following

Notice is hereby given that the preliminary budget of the
Town of Wappinger for the fiscal year beginning January 1st, 1971,

inspection by any interested person at all reasonable hours.
Further notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town
of Wappinger will meet and review said preliminary budget and hold
a public hearing thereon, at the Town Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on
the 29th day of October, 1970, and that at such hearing any person
may be heard in favor. of or against the preliminary budget as compiled
