1968-10-10 SPM200 WAIVER OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER DUTCHESS COUNTY, NEW YORK The undersigned, being all of the members of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, do hereby waive notice of the time and place of the holding of a Special Meeting of said Town Board, and do hereby agree and consent that the same be held on the 10th day of October, 1968, at 9:00 o'clock in the afternoon of that day at the Town Hall of the Town of Wappinger, Mill Street, in the Village of Wappingers Falls, Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, for the transaction of all business which may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof. All Board members being present and signing the above waiver, each for himself. Others Present: Allan Rappleyea, Attorney to -the Town 201 RESOLUTION OF TOWN BOARD APPROVING PRELIMINARY BUDGET AND CALLING PUBLIC HEARING THEREON The following Resolution was offered by COUNCILMAN HEADY, who moved its adoption: RESOLVED, that this Town Board does hereby prepare and approve as the preliminary budget of this Town for the fiscal year begin- ning on the 1st day of January, 1969, the itemized statement of estimated revenues and expenditures hereto attached and made a part of this resolution, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that such preliminary budget shall be filed in the office of the Town Clerk where it shall be available for inspection by any interested person at all reasonable hours, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Board shall meet at 8 P.M. o'clock on the 28th day of October, 1968, for the purpose of holding a public hearing upon such preliminary budget, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk give notice of such public hearing in the manner provided in Section 113 of the Town Law, and that such notice be published and posted in substantially the following form: NOTICE OF HEARING UPON PRELIMINARY BUDGET Notice is hereby given that the preliminary budget of the Town of Wappinger for the fiscal year beginning January 1st, 1969, has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk, at Town Hall, Mill St. Wappingers Falls, N.Y., where it is available for inspection by any interested person at all reasonable hours. Further notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger will meet and review said preliminary budget and hold a public hearing thereon, at the Town Hall at 8 o'clock P.M. on the 28th day of October, 1968, and that at such hearing any person may be heard in favor of or against the preliminary budget as compiled or for or against any item or items therein contained. Pursuant to Section 113 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following town officers are hereby specified as follows: Supervisor $ 4,500. Justice of the Peace 2,700. Justice of the Peace 2,700. Councilman (4) (each) 1,500. Town Clerk 6,100. Superintendent of Highways 8,400. BY ORDER OF THE TOWN BOARD Elaine H.
