1968-06-21 SPMWAIVER OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF TOWN OF WAPPINGER DUTCHESS COUNTY, NEW YORK The undersigned, being all of the members of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, do hereby waive notice of the time and place of the holding of a Special Meeting of said Town Board, and do hereby agree and consent that the same be held on the 21st day of June, 1968, 9:30 o'clock in the morning of that day at the Town Hall of the Town of Wappinger, Mill Street, in the Village of Wappingers Falls, Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, for the transaction of all business which may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof. ,60 Supervisor Councilman AA_cxi Councilman Counci an Councilman' Due and timely notice of the above mentioned meeting is hereby admitted. na.„6„2_ Town Clerk Town of Wappinger 132 A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was held Friday, June 21, 1968, at the Town Hall, Mill Street, Wappingers Falls, New York. All Board members being present and having signed the above waiver of notice, each for himself, Supervisor Diehl called the meeting to order at 9:54 A.M. The following resolution was offered by Mr. Finnan who moved its adoption: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF DUTCHESS FOR LANDFILL ON COUNTY PROPERTY WHEREAS, the County of Dutchess 4s authorized, by resolutions #233 and 218 of 1968, the leasing of certain lands in the County of Dutchess to the Town of Wappinger and others for use as a landfill operation with the right and privilege to dump and fill on such land, garbage, ashes and refuse for a monthly rental of $50.00. WHEREAS, a resolution was duly enacted on June 19, 1968, by the County of Dutchess authorizing the County Executive to execute the agreement on behalf of the County of Dutchess. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Supervisor of the Town of Wappinger is hereby authorized and directed to .execute, on behalf of the Town of Wappinger, the agreement be- tween the County of Dutchess, the Town of Wappinger, the Town of Poughkeepsie and the City of Poughkeepsie, on behalf of the Town of Wappinger and that the aforementioned agreement is approved by the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger.
