A special meeting of the Town Board, Town of Wappinger was held on Tuesday
evening, March 11, 1965 in the Town Hall, Mill Street, Wappingers Falls,N.Y.
Present: -Councilmen -George Robinson & Louis Diehl, Justices of the Peace -
William J. Bulger & Vincent Francese, Building Inspector -Joseph Ludewig,
Enfineer to the Town-Vincnent Kelly, Attorney for the Town -Harold Reilly,
Town Clerk -Helen L. Travis.
The meeting was opened at 8 P. M. by Deputy Supervisor George Robinson.
Much discussion was held on conditions in Wildwood Forest in reference to
roads and the ditch probtemstabee were recorded on the Tape recorder.
Motion was made by Councilman Diehl and seconded by Justice of thePeace
Bulger that the Building Inspector withhold all Certificates of Occup-
ancy in Wildwood F,rests until the Town Board has a report from thp
Town Highway Superintendent, the Engineer for the Town, who are to
consult with the Fire Chief of the District. The report to be to the
effect that the roads are passable and safe. This motion to become
effective on Saturday morning. The following vote was taken: -
Councilman Robinsonn-Aye, Justice of the Peace Francese--Aye,
Councilman Diehl -Aye, Justice of the Peace William Bulger --Aye
Following this motion a discussion was held with Mr. Lafko, who akked
,
for a little more time before this motion went into effect.
Motion was made by Councilman Diehl and seconded by Justice of thePeace
Bulger that Skyview Developement Corporation be allowed 4 days to make
a reasonable effort to correct the road conditions in Wildwood Forest.
At the end of this time if they are not passable and in safe condition
the above motion was to go into effect.
Motion was made by Councilman Diehl and seconded by Justice of the Peace
Bulger that if by Monday, March 15th the roads are not in passable condition
that their motion made above would go into effect immediately. The following
vote was takea. Councilman Diehl --Aye Councilman Robinson --Aye, Justice of
the Peace Bulger --Aye, Justice of the Peace Francese--Aye.
Motion was made by Justice of the Peace Bulger and seconded by Councilman
Diehl that the meeting adjourn:
Motion carried.
