A special meeting of the Town Board, Town of Wappinger was held on
Friday evening, October 9, 1964 at 6:50 P. M. in the Town Hall, Mill
Street, Wappingers Falls, N. Y.
Present: -Supervisor -Richard H. Linge, Councilmen -George Robinson, and
Wilmer 'fill, Justices of the Peace William Bulger and Vincent Fran-
cese, Town Clerk -Helen L. Travis.
Supervisor Linge called the meeting to order at 6:50 P. M.
The following resolution was made by Councilman Robinson and seconded
by Justice of the Peace Bulger.
REOLVED that the annexed detailed statement of estimated expenditures
and revenue be and the same hereby is approved and adopted as the
preliminary budget of the Town for the fiscal year beginning January
1, 1965, and that such preliminary budget shall be filed forthwith
in the office of the Town Clerk of this Town where it shall be available
for inspection by any interested person at all reasonfble hours, and
be it further
RESOLVED THAT the Town Board shall meet at the Town Hall, Mill St.
Wappingers Falls, N. Y. in this Township on October 29, 1964 from
8:00 P. M. to 9:00 P. M. and then and there hold a public hearing
upon such preliminary budget, and that the Town Clerk shall give
notice of such public hearing by publishing notice thereof in the
Wappingers and Southern Dutchess News, newspaper having general
circulation within this Town, such notice to be published twice
and the first publication thereof to be at least ten (10) days prior
to the time herein above set for said hearing , and theLTown Clerk
shall also cause five copies of such notice to be posted conspic-
uously in differnet places in the Town not less than ten days
before the day designated for such hearing. The notice to be pub-
lished and posted shall be prepared by the Town Clerk and shall
be in substantially the form annexed hereto. The foregoing resol-
ution upon being put to vote was adopted by unamimous vote..
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PRELIMINARY BUDGET
NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that the preliminary budget of the Town of
Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, for the fiscal year be-
ginning January 1, 1965, has been completed and filed in the office
of the Town Clerk of said Town, at Mill Street, Wappingers Falls,
N. Y., in said Town, where it is available for inspection by
any interested person at all reasonable hours.
AND FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the
said Town of Wappinger will meet and review such preliminary budget
and hold a public hearing thereon at the Town Hall Mill Street, in
said Town at 8$00 to 9:00 o'clock P. M. on the 29th day of October
1964 and that at such hearing angyppsson may be heard in favor of
or against the preliminary budget as compiled or for or against
any item or items therein contained.
AND NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN, pursuant to Section 113 of theTown
Law that the following are the proposed yearly salaries of Town

BY ORDER OF THE TOWN BOARD
Dated October 10th, 1964
Justice of Peace Francese then called upon the Town Supervisor
to hold a special meeting on Thursday evening, October 15, 1964
to take up the matters concerning the Thomann Bond and the Brook -
Hallow Bond, and a resolution to amend Town Road Specifications
to incorporate standard of conditions under which Town Roads are
accepted.
Motion wqs made by Councilman Ifill and seconded by Justice of the

sider the Thoman Bond and the Brookhollow Builders, Inc., Bond, and
to consider a Resolution to amend the Town Road specifications to

Motion was made by Councilman Robinson and seconded by Justice of the
Peace Francese that the meeting adjourn.
