A public Hearing was held at the Town Clerks Office on April 29,1958
Meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M.pursuant to notice thereof duly
published.
The purpose of said hearing was to determine if an ordinance legalizing
Bingo should be adopted by the Town Board and submitted for approval or
rejection by the voters of the Town at a special election to be called
for that purpose. The Town Board heard the following persons.
Edward A.Halpin of Fowler House Road
C.J.Zdaich,Hughsonville,William Brady Hughsonville,and Anthony J.Caccamo
also of Hughsonville,all of whom spoke in favorof submitting such ordinance
at,a special Election.
There being no opposition thereto it was unanimously decided that such ordinance
be°adopted as soon as possible for submission at a special Town election
Wand the Town Attorney was instructedto prepare a suitable ordinance to be
"`presented to the Town Board.
As,'proof of advertisement bids on stone and oil were received from the
following Lemae Sand & Stone Corp.,Albany Post Road,Cold Spring,N.Y.
;Frank J.Melito,Inc.,Sheaf Road,Wappingers Falls,N.Y.,Fishkill. Builders
Supply Corp.,Fishkill,N.B.,Spoor Lasher Co.inc.,Poughkeepsie,N.Y.

Moved by Judge Beatty Seconded by Councilman Mewkill pending talk with
Town sneer that actin on the bids be deferred.

Regularly moved by Councilman Mewkill seconded by Judge Beatty that Spoor
Iaeher Co.inc. being the low bidder,that he be awarded the contract for oil
for the year 1958 Motion Carried
Motion made by Councilman Mawkill seconded by Judge Kelly that the contract
for sand and gravel be awarded to Lemac Send and Stone Corp. as lowest bidder
to the extent that they are able to meet our requirements. Motion carrmed
Moved by Judge Beatty seconded by Councilman Mewkill that meeting adjourn.
