The Applicant is proposing a three (3) lot subdivision located on Organ Hill Road in the town of LaGrange on a parcel containing approximately 8.7 acres of land in the Residential R-80 Zoning District. The Town of LaGrange Planning Board has scheduled a public hearing for said subdivision application to take place at the January 17, 2013 Planning Board meeting. As per General Municipal Law §239-nn, The legislative body or other authorized body having jurisdiction in a municipality shall give notice to an adjacent municipality when a hearing is held by such body relating to a subdivision review and approval on property that is within five hundred feet of an adjacent municipality. Subject parcel is located within five hundred feet from the boundary between the Town of LaGrange and the Town of Wappinger. Therefore, as per General Municipal Law §239-nn, notice shall be given by mail or electronic transmission to the clerk of the adjacent municipality at least ten days prior to any scheduled Public Hearing. It is noted that subject parcel is located approximately four-hundred (~00) feet from the boundary line between the Town of LaGrange and the Town of Wappinger. This letter shall serve as notification of the scheduled public hearing in accordance with General Municipal Law §239-nn.
