In reply to our letters of September 30, 1971 and March 13, 1972 regarding
recreation land in the above development, the Planning Board suggested that
the Recreation Commission consult with the Town Assessor, Town Attorney and
the Town Engineer. Planning Board letter was dated 4/6/72.
Commissioners did not feel the Planning Board reply was a satisfactory one
and a letter will be sent the Town Board requesting that action be taken
in order to determine why recreation land was'not dedicated in the above
development.
Pondview
Mrs. Arkell reported that she has not been contacted regarding the above.
Hill Nt Dale
The minutes of the March 9, 1972 Recreation Commission meeting stated that
the developer was planning to provide a recreation area for residents of
the above area. This information had been given to the Recreation Commission
verbally by the Planning Board secretary. A copy of the Planning Board letter
of April 6, 1971 to the attorney for the owners of the above property was
read and indicates that the Town will, in fact, receive recreation land.

Mr. Porter reported on the recent meeting he attended at Roy C. Ketcham
High School with 'other people interested in making plans for Senior Citizens.
Representatives of senior citizens groups attended from Hopewell, East

combined into one and their recreational needs met. There is to be another
meeting in May and Mr. Porter and Mrs. Arkell will attend.
Mr. Garren reported to the Commission that he had been approached by
Samuel Jamieson, 14 Onnedga Drive, Wappingers Fal~s, N. Y. who requested
that the Recreation Commission consider replacing a basket at a basketball
court which presently exists in his neighborhood. In checking back it
was determined that this court is not on Town land. Minutes of the
