WINTER PROGRAM
Laura lick presented the Commission with a winter program schedule. The
Commission felt that the Adult program did not offer anything for woman.
With only one instructor the women would have to share the gym with the
men and Mr. Maurer said he had spoken to some women last year and
discovered that many left because they did not like playing volleyball
in front of the men. Mr. Maurer suggested that the Commission try to
hire another instructor and divide the gym in half. He also felt that
most women would like to have and exercise period prior to playing
volleyball or basketball. Everyone agreed.that it was a good idea. Laura
lick would look into hiring anouther instructor.
SKI TRIP
There was no response so far for the day trip on 12/28/74. The trip would
probably be canceled. Tm weekend trip was attracting some interest
but Laura lick said the adults that called objected to the dorm type
lodging that was offered. Mr. Maurer suggested that they put a note in
the paper stating that until some interest is shown, no more ski trips
would be planned.
The next-meeting was set for January 9, 1975. Mr. Schlathaus motioned to
close the meeting. It was seconded by Mr. Garren and carried. The meeting
